to find her passion she lights her beacon
Paradise sits in a box in DABB, but once you get inside far enough, the weather effects and and the general atmosphere take over, and it seems less like a box, and more like a small experience.
And it is that--a very small, short haunt. Still, it has some fun touches.
It uses one of the three main pre-built haunted houses we've seen this year, but it's the least used of the three. And it's decorated in a very vintage, pleasing manner.
This I loved, and a static image just doesn't do it justice--up the stairs, just to the left, the moving shadow of a tree on the wall. Sometimes it's the little details that make a haunt feel special.
And the master bedroom suite. Nothing extraordinary, though the floating, glowing skeleton amused.
All in all, this is another haunt to take in if you don't have a lot of time, and just want something slightly spooky to touch your day. It's well done, no jumpscares, not a lot of photo op possibilities, but well done nonetheless. Go see.
