(Roleplay entry. Continued from part XXXIV.)
He felt like he couldn't breathe. He was in the cage and placed back into a wagon.
Hiram spoke to the laborers. They were given instructions to take the crate to the docks, which ship to place it on. After this, the builder walked back into the temple to have lunch.
The dramatic assault was not only shocking because of the violence, but also for the audacity of the act in daylight. He saw Hiram resist.
The ruffians searched the body. Hiro watched as they looked for a ring and a key. He slumped lower in the cage instinctually.
"Where is it?"
"When do we know he last had it?"
Hiro held his breath; the noise in the temple became loud. He heard voices. He tried to look out without being seen. Warriors were running in. Commotion.
The workers near his crate were questioned.
"Where is this crate heading?"
"To a ship from Tyre. It is continuing on west. The Grand Master signed an order. We have the letter with his seal."
"Get this out of here, we need the room out here in the courtyard to clear out the temple."
Soon Hiro felt himself, and the wagon, moving. He mentally prepared himself for a long trip...
