welcome to the machine, where have you been?
Today is also the soft open for Gearhaven. Oh, there's definitely more to do, and we may substantially revise what's out, but...for now...we're declaring it reasonably acceptable.
This is the main seat of government (for the moment, at least), as well as the court's official residence.
I'm still thinking taking a quarter-sim for a garden was way out of line, but...no one stopped me, so...it's now a collection of several gazebos, an outdoor council circle, a dance floor, and several small places to sit and reflect. Be a bit cautious around some of the wildlife...and some of the flora. Just in case.
On the other side of Steamopolis, are the floating rocks I barely managed to chain in place before they floated off, and the sky temple.
On the other side of the sim is the castle. There's...a lot of castle. And scattered here and there are remnants lingering of why we started developing Gearhaven here to begin with...traces of lost Carcosa.
The sky city of NuTanis is still under reconstruction, but we fully expect it--and Tannhauser Station, far, far above it--to be up and functional soon.
It's good to see so many diverse business opportunities for the Sphinx-Templar Syndicate, too.
And what kind of evil enchantress would I be if there weren't places the public is forbidden to go? Your trick is not finding them. Take care!
