but if you find it in your dreams, you can find it at your day job

Ell's Spooky Place, the blurb began.
Haunted house! Scary creatures! Witches and evil pumpkins. Mermaid haunted area underneath the water. Come have fun at Ell's Spooky Place!
Okay, let's see how they do.

Okay, this is the most adorable little guy. He totters in a small circle, around and around. Perfect for a nursery haunt.

Undead bunny? And of course there's a monster under the bed.

That's a nifty trick. Rez in at the nursery, your profile pic shows up on the retro TV set.

Leaving the nursery, I notice the house across the way also seems to be a treehouse. I say "seems to be" because, with a bit of reflection, it's not a tree trunk holding the house up, it's four gigantic femurs.

Inside's fairly simple--the witch's broom, a cat, a table...I certainly wouldn't take tea with her, but it seems nice, if a bit rustic.

I...decided not to climb the ladder fully to the bedroom loft. The cats were...very convincing. (The one in back doesn't menace the way the striped one does--it just calmly watches, filing its claws to sharper points.)

All in all, this is perfectly charming. There's another whole building to explore--a lighthouse, across the small bay, and potentially more beyond that--and I'd say this is well worth going. I'm just now remembering mention of an underwater haunted area, so I may well need to return and check that out.

Some great photo ops, good scenery, definitely has a grasp of what makes a haunt work. And rarest of all, this is perfectly PG for those who don't want their scares being too scary.
