yeah, I'll gravitate towards you
Brief little bit from chat earlier:
Meanwhile, visited the Vaak Rift again today. Wanted to see if it was still there.
It is!
And still as odd as ever. Especially when it comes to invisible puppy voices:
There's always something new in the Rift. Still the flying koi, still the crystal-strewn sands, still the cargo-crate housing, still the broken...everything...but...odd little details, here and there.
While the Rift shares nothing, per se, on a one-to-one direct comparison basis with Gearhaven, I can sort of see the same thinking. That kind of..."I bought this thing for this place. I am going to put this thing in this place. It serves no other use than to be part of this place."
There's a store now, too! I don't know if it was here the last time I came through, which admittedly, was months ago, but it's here now. And some of the things scattered about the structures are for sale in it.
This crystal next to a power generator? Is at the back of the store.
All in all, glad it's stil there. Seems to be another store now, too, but I didn't go in. Still, if you wander around, you'll probably find it. And a lot of other things...
[10:24] Mxxxxxxx Wxxxxxxxxx: People are amusingly judgementalRight, that's all there is to it, I need to do a post on what's actually out there for good male hair options.
[10:25] Mxxxxxxx Wxxxxxxxxx: I am seeing more * ick no niramyth aesthetic bodies *
[10:25] Mxxxxxxx Wxxxxxxxxx: which amuses me because 3/4 of the men in sl look alike
[10:25] Mxxxxxxx Wxxxxxxxxx: they are all the same height
[10:25] Emilly Shatner-Orr (emilly.orr) nods
[10:25] Mxxxxxxx Wxxxxxxxxx: same hair
[10:25] Emilly Shatner-Orr (emilly.orr): Granted, Gianni and Jake seem more prevalent, but still.
[10:25] Mxxxxxxx Wxxxxxxxxx: usually with sunglasses of some sort, for some reason.
[10:26] Emilly Shatner-Orr (emilly.orr): Well, that's actually more a result of the lack of really diverse hair options for guys, though, too.
[10:26] Emilly Shatner-Orr (emilly.orr): Because sunglasses means you're too cool for this [sh*t], obviously.
[10:26] Mxxxxxxx Wxxxxxxxxx: There are options
[10:26] Mxxxxxxx Wxxxxxxxxx: a lot, actually
[10:26] Mxxxxxxx Wxxxxxxxxx: harder for ethnic hair.
[10:27] Mxxxxxxx Wxxxxxxxxx: but, still in the realm of possible

[22:40] kibble is not sure if he trusts Emilly Shatner-Orr.Aww. So he must have been close...
[22:41] Emilly Shatner-Orr (emilly.orr): I might not be trustable.
[22:41] Emilly Shatner-Orr (emilly.orr): Who really knows for sure?
[22:42] kibble is hungry.
[22:46] kibble sniffs Emilly Shatner-Orr's hand.
[22:47] kibble thinks Emilly Shatner-Orr is gentle and kind.
