come here, sparrow, watch my hand

We're starting off with ICONIC, and this is their "Elayna" style, a short, tousled pixie cut.

I can't parse out of the banding on this particular hair--their 'Ombre' tone--is meant to be banded in repeating stripes, or if that's something about the demo overlay, but either way, it's arresting.

Not shown: "Grown Woman", because it had frightening alpha issues, and "Jewel", because it was...just odd, and not in a stunningly original way.

You can find ICONIC on Brickness.

Next up, ISON, and this is "Heidi", using the brown tone off the Essentials HUD dye pack. Simple, pretty swept-back fall style.

And from the back, where it's less interesting, but still pretty.

(from the Hair Fair album)

This is "Ruby", using the second 'dip dye' color on the Dark Tones dye HUD.

It's kind of bipolar--tightly bobby-pinned on one side, huge Veronica Lake waves on the other.

(from the Hair Fair album)

And more waves down the back, just past the shoulder blades on the main mass, with one wavy fall tracing down to mid-back.

Not shown: "Leighton", which was a fairly standard updo with a top bun.

You can find ISON in Harbour.

Herve Faenzo's first offering, "OBLIVION", I found it impossible to find a pose wherein the hair didn't clip through my bustline. I suppose this is only hair for the more svelte-chested among us.

(from the Hair Fair album)

This is it from the back, and it's shown in 'Chocolate'.

Not shown: the other two styles, because they were so remarkably similiar, I think seeing this first one will tell you all you need to know. You can find Herve Faenzo sharing a booth with Goucci on Brickness.

Next is Vanity Hair, and this is "Sonata", in 'Golden'. I don't precisely appreciate the addition of the drawn mustache for the tattoo hairbase demo, but this style required it.

And from the back, a froth of curls and gathered hair.

This is "Boys will be Boys", which even with the attached hairbase, did not completely fill in for me along the sides. It's also rigged mesh, so cannot be adjusted in any way.

And the sinuous curling strands from the back.

Not shown: "Fantastic Girls", a sixties-influenced semi-bouffant style.

You can find Vanity Hair in Brickness.

(The skin is called "Kaylee" in 'Tone2', and it's from AIMI Skin Store. I believe it was a freebie. I'm wearing it with the "Faded Love" lips in 'Caramel', from Glamorize. The eyes are IKON's "Light Arabian Blue" eyes [size M], which were a group gift some months back. The outfit's part of the "Military" corset dress from Shade Designs, which I'm wearing with the "Military" knee-high boots in 'Khaki' from Drakke Designs.)
