you left me wonder you into a myth that I missed
And the "Spring" set from the Cassiopeia eyes, designed by Rue.
We start off with "Chartreuse", which is a vivid mix of green and yellow tones. (It's also a fairly stellar herbal liqueur.)
"Green Apple" is next, and this is perfectly reminiscent of crisp, tart green apples, fresh from the tree.
"Green Gold" is next, and this is another one I had to look up. Apparently green gold is really a thing; while it's not natural, the admixture of gold and silver creates a slight, subtle greenish hue to the gold.
In these eyes, of course, it's a much stronger tinting, but--as with green gold in RL--there is more gold than green to the tone.
"Lizard" takes the green-gold and amps it up with a layer of molten metal, surrounding malachite glow.
"Moss" is one of my favorites for this set, but then, I have chosen to live voluntarily in a place where moss is not a distraction, but a way of life. This eye brings the best of those colors to life: the muted greens, the hints of grey, the new yellow curling fronds, the feathery darker greens threading through, from shadow to light.
We end with "Olive", which is an admixture of fern, asparagus, pistachio, avocado, olive and pale amber hues, set gently into a pool of algae and stirred.
More to come!
(Horns from Rue, they were part of the Eclectic Desires L$10 skull hunt [no longer available]. Hair's from Ploom. Skin's still from MoMo. Forehead jewels are from the Arachnos skin set at Fallen Gods [it comes with spider back-arms and the Arachnos skin as well; it's likely no longer available].)
