That's a separate issue, and your best way around that is to close the group, because group chat is treated the same as person-to-person: they all come in as IMs.

I did think about it, and decided no, I should still reserve blocks and mutes for the big stuph--griefers, major life annoyances, stalkers. Not idiots who spam groups randomly.
