I have to run and hide, can't look behind me
Tonight, I feel it is my civic duty to mention Miss Stinna Biddle. Not so much because she, herself, is that outrageous--though truly, having not seen her, I have no way of knowing--but because...well. After seeing her work? Any haunted house on SL may be a walk in the park. With kittens.
Kittens wearing pink bows and mewing cutely.
I'm not kidding. This is her current build in [redacted because of request]:
This is the upper story. (There are four stories. All open to the elements.)
Floors three and two. The entire structure is HUGE, and white. And I don't mean textured-plaster white, I mean PLAIN WHITE BLANK PRIM white. Insanity.
She seems to have a fetish with either Kris Kristofferson, or the film Convoy. This is all for sale.
Also, that's the first blow-up-doll version of the Friendship Bear I've ever seen. That right there may make my Most Terrifying Thing EVER list.
Second floor. No, I don't know why there's only a freebie sink on the second floor.
You remember those cute little graphics you'd see on Yahoo and GeoCities pages, waybackwhen? The little animated "This site is under construction!" .gifs?
Yeah. She found one. It's out in front of the place.
And the ground floor, complete with a Friendship Bear (dyed blue), several examples of her "art"--and I use the term very loosely here--a half-completed freebie train track, a cannon, several prim "lights" that seem to be mostly free scripts, simply textured cones, and spheres with animated textures...Honestly, all of this? I'd expect from a newb.
The problem is, she was decanted onto the grid in 2007.
Yes. She's not new.
She is Danish, though--does that help?
(Note: the sim owners are talking to her about her building being...outside of regional tact codes, let us say. From the current estate manager for that sim: "It violates several provisions of the covenant, which she agreed to. It falls into ugly freebie build; inappropriately large for the type of construction and sim; things outside for sale that would not normally be sold outside; floating signs; more than one business sign...It's not good.")
She has a day to take it down.

This is also now a historical record (of whatever dubious value that may entail). She was notified she had a day to remove the structure. She did not reply, so the estate manager returned those elements which were in violation.
In a few days, I'll post some pics gathered of the new structure. It's not...quite...as terrifying.
