praying for love in a lap dance, and paying in naivete

Up next: the Mythos set from the Cassiopeia eyes, designed by Rue.

(from the Avatars album and the Mythos set of Cassiopeia eyes)

So these are the "Deva" eyes, and they remind me of what starfields look like through the long-distance telescopes we have. Ethereal drifting gases with touches of watermelon tourmaline.

Next up, "Goddess", the one that Miss Ruina used for the blog post first advertising them. I look at these and I think of seafoam and icing, and powdered sugar. I'm pretty sure if I went on an image hunt through wedding cakes, I'd find something with these shades. (In fact, when I got curious about how easy one would be to find, this turned up within the first two pages.)

"Legend" takes the star-strewn vistas and frothy pastels of the first two eyes and drops them down a well. Hints of echo, oil on dark waters, the golden beam of the lantern held over the lip to discern details..."Legend" brings mystery, and sourceless flickers of firelight, over the purple-blue oilslick sheen.

"Oasis" is nearly a riot of color in comparison, bringing to mind tigerlilies and cut grass, deepwood ferns and shadows under trees of red maple.

"Peacock" returns us to the shades of watermelon tourmaline, and drags in the deep clear reds of pomegranates and garnets, too, swirling through a sea of absinthe green.

Finally, the Mythos set ends with "Samsara", which is a multifaceted word on its own. This is also one of the few in the Cassiopeia set to have distinct color bands and not intermixed and blended tones, hues and shades.

This eye begins with pink grapefruit, and moves to honeydew melon, with tones of crisp pear, golden apple, and sharp new pine needles before the pure coconut shades of the triple pupil.

(Horns from Rue, part of the Eclectic Desires L$10 skull hunt and maze. You MIGHT still be able to get in and search, but it's doubtful. Hair's from Ploom. Skin's still from MoMo. Forehead jewels are from the Arachnos skin set at Fallen Gods [it comes with spider back-arms and the Arachnos skin as well; it's likely no longer available].)
